Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Macroh, the mobile app and website provided by Macroh (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Macroh does

Macroh uses computer vision to identify dishes in meal photos and estimate their calories and macros. We provide this as guidance, not as medical advice. Calorie estimates have a typical error of ±15–25% and should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Macroh. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. If you lose access, contact support@macroh.in.

4. Subscriptions

Macroh is free to start with a daily scan limit. Paid plans unlock unlimited scans and the full history view.

• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Cancel anytime from your Apple ID, Google Play account, or Razorpay receipt.
• Refunds for App Store and Play Store purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively. For web purchases via Razorpay, contact us within 7 days for a refund of unused time.
• Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Macroh to:

• Scan content that isn't food (we may rate-limit or block accounts that repeatedly submit non-food images)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs
• Use Macroh as the sole input for clinical or medical decisions
• Share your account with others

6. Intellectual property

You own the photos you take and the meal data you log. We retain ownership of the Macroh app, brand, and underlying technology. You grant us a limited licence to process your photos and meal data only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer

Macroh is provided “as is”. We do our best to make the service accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that every dish identification or calorie count will be correct. The service is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian, or medical professional.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to Macroh is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can stop using Macroh and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
