Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Macroh account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how — required reading for App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Data Safety compliance.
From inside the app
- Open Macroh
- Go to Settings → Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- You will be signed out immediately
By email
If you cannot access the app, email support@macroh.infrom the email address linked to your account. Include the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm and delete within 7 working days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, age, height, weight, goal, activity level)
- Your meal diary, including every scan you have logged
- Your sign-in association (Apple ID / Google account linkage)
- Your subscription record (the subscription itself must be cancelled separately via Apple, Google, or Razorpay — see our Support page)
What is retained, and for how long
- Anonymised aggregate analytics(e.g. “X scans on date Y”) may be retained indefinitely — these contain no personal data.
- Encrypted backups are deleted within 30 days.
- Payment records required by law (e.g. GST records) may be retained for the statutory period — these are minimal and held by Razorpay / Apple / Google, not by us.
This is irreversible
Once deletion is processed, your data cannot be recovered. If you want to use Macroh again later, you can create a new account, but your prior diary and history will not be available.
